The simplest way to unwind from the ever-hectic schedules of today’s world is to have a long walk in the gardens of your house, parks, and institutions. Nowadays gardens also symbolize a healthy lifestyle, often it has been seen that people pay a hefty amount for the creation and maintenance of gardens. Collection of different types of seeds, and making them grow into beautiful flower-bearing plants is a task in itself and requires sheer dedication. And the talk is there are hundreds of gardens you can take a walk in, each having its scientific reason, yes you heard me right the saplings sown in a garden have a scientific reason behind it. Let’s have a look at it.
Institutional Gardens
Every office has two to three gardens on the front porch or at the back of the organization. These gardens are often stacked with saplings of medicinal value or with those known to release earthly unreal fragrances. They help in the creation of a serene environment for the office and help the employees to work more on a productive day, often the organization gives garden tours to the employees so that they can take a 15-minute break, roam a bit in the garden, and refresh themselves.
Backyard Gardens
With the ever-changing house models, the backyard gardens are constant. The amount of effort and money spent on them is enormous. These gardens often contain small herbs and small cultivation areas for vegetables such as chillies, tomatoes, brinjal, capsicum, etc. The proud moments of owners showing the house gardens to the guests during the garden tours.
Societal Gardens
The society in which we live is also bound to maintain gardens and playgrounds for its residents to use. Nowadays the concept of societies having at least five gardens is also quite prevalent and if you ask for my opinion it is the best alternative to create a beautiful and helps in decreasing the global temperature. When organizing big functions in the society the small herbs and vegetables used can be grown in the gardens by various society residents and used when required. I once visited a society nearby where the concept of growing trees on special occasions was prevalent, I was so amazed at how beautiful the society stands among the others, and the serene environment is the best, no more noise pollution by the nearby roads and the noise often gets blocked by the plated trees, no dust only the breezy waves of winds and you.
Then there come the traditional gardens maintained by the governments and trusts for the point of view of tourists and local people’s picnic spots. I still remember those Sunday picnics and the lessons on the various plant’s values and the environment they need to grow. There are several garden tours to take but the question that arises is have we ever looked up from our laptops in the nearby area, trust me those 10-minute breaks when you are not able to jot down a new idea are the best productivity booster I recommend.
